Almodvar AFI Retrospective Adds Eyes With No Face, Le Cercle Rouge, Nightmare Alley, The Murders

La, CA, October 25, 2011 AFI Fest presented by Audi, a showcase of the very anticipated films and performances of the season, today introduced the film retrospective curated by Guest Artistic Director Pedro Almodvar for that 25th edition from the festival. Additionally towards the formerly introduced screening of his film Law of Desire being an Evening With Pedro Almodvar Gala presentation on Monday, November 7, Almodvar’s program of classic horror films and thrillers are Eyes With no Face (Dir. Georges Franju, 1960), Le Cercle Rouge (Dir. Jean-Pierre Melville, 1970), Nightmare Alley (Dir. Edmund Goulding, 1947) and also the Murders (Dir. Robert Siodmak, 1946).
